At Workfile.io, we strive to provide exceptional services and products. This Return and Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions for returns, refunds, and cancellations of our digital and physical products. This policy is designed to comply with Razorpay's guidelines and applicable Indian laws.


2. Services Covered

This policy applies to all Workfile.io services including:

  • Digital Business Cards
  • Work Profiles
  • Mini Business Websites
  • Physical Business Cards (NFC and Non-NFC PVC Cards)
  • Workfile QR Stickers
  • Custom QR Code Printing
  • Website Development and Design Services
  • Logo Design Services
  • Graphic Design Services


3. Digital Services Refund Policy

a) Digital Business Cards, Work Profiles, and Mini Websites:

  • Refunds are available within 7 days of purchase if the service has not been activated or used.
  • Once the digital service is activated, customized, or published, no refund will be provided due to the personalized nature of the service.
  • Technical issues preventing service delivery will be resolved at no additional cost or a full refund will be provided.

b) Website Development and Design Services:

  • Custom design and development services are non-refundable once work has commenced.
  • Refunds are available within 24 hours of order placement if work has not yet begun.
  • If we fail to deliver the service as promised, a full refund will be provided.

c) Logo and Graphic Design Services:

  • Non-refundable once initial design concepts are delivered.
  • Refunds available within 24 hours of order placement if design work has not started.
  • Revision rounds are included as per the selected package.


4. Physical Products Return and Refund Policy

a) NFC and Non-NFC PVC Cards:

  • Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery for manufacturing defects or damage during shipping.
  • Custom printed cards cannot be returned unless defective or damaged.
  • Original packaging and condition must be maintained for eligible returns.
  • Customer must obtain Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) before returning products.

b) QR Stickers and Printed Materials:

  • Returns accepted only for manufacturing defects or printing errors.
  • Custom printed materials are non-returnable unless defective.
  • Notification of defects must be made within 48 hours of delivery.


5. Cancellation Policy

Before Production/Activation:

  • Digital services: Cancellation allowed within 24 hours of purchase with full refund.
  • Physical products: Cancellation allowed before production begins with full refund.
  • Custom services: Cancellation allowed within 24 hours if work hasn't commenced.

After Production/Activation:

  • Digital services: No cancellation once activated or customized.
  • Physical products: No cancellation once production has started.
  • Custom services: Cancellation may result in charges for work completed.


6. Refund Process

a) How to Request a Refund:

  • Contact our customer support at info@workfile.io
  • Provide order number, purchase details, and reason for refund
  • For physical products, obtain RMA number before returning

b) Processing Time:

  • Refund requests are processed within 3-5 business days of approval
  • Refunds are credited to the original payment method used
  • Bank processing may take additional 5-7 business days

c) Refund Amount:

  • Full refund for eligible cancellations and defective products
  • Return shipping costs are borne by customer unless product is defective
  • Payment gateway charges are non-refundable


7. Non-Refundable Items

  • Digital services after activation or customization
  • Custom designed products (unless defective)
  • Services already delivered or completed
  • Gift cards and promotional credits
  • Subscription renewals (can be cancelled for future billing)

9. Damaged or Defective Products

  • Report damage or defects within 48 hours of delivery
  • Provide photographic evidence of the issue
  • We will arrange pickup or provide return shipping label
  • Replacement or full refund will be provided for verified defects


10. Subscription Services

  • Monthly/Annual subscriptions can be cancelled anytime
  • Cancellation prevents future billing but no refund for current period
  • Services remain active until the end of current billing cycle
  • Pro-rated refunds may be considered for technical issues on case-by-case basis


11. Dispute Resolution

In case of payment disputes:

  • Contact our customer support first for resolution
  • Provide all relevant documentation
  • We will work with Razorpay to resolve payment-related issues
  • Chargeback requests should be made only after attempting direct resolution


12. Force Majeure

Workfile.io is not liable for delays or non-delivery due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, or technical failures of third-party services.


13. Policy Updates

This policy may be updated periodically. Changes will be posted on our website with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
